RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE COMPLIANCE DATES FOR CIVIC
CENTER UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1979 -1.
WHEREAS, the Town Council established Civic Center Underground
Utility District No. 1979 -1 in February, 1980 pursuant to Article III
of Chapter 32 of the Town Code by adopting Ordinance No. 1457; and
WHEREAS, Section 32 -21 of the Los Gatos Town Code permits the Town
Council to extend the time for compliance with the requirements imposed
by underground utility districts; and
WHEREAS, the utility companies were not ready to provide underground
service in said District until after the date specified in Ordinance
No. 1457; and
WHEREAS, the property owners cannot remove their overhead services
until the utility companies are ready to provide underground service.
RESOLVED, that the time within which affected property owners in
Civic Center Underground Utility District 1979 -1 must be ready to receive
underground service is extended to September 1, 1981.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 20th day of April
1981, by the following vote:
