A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY, AND
AUTHORIZING TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL OTHER
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE TO CLOSING OF THE
TRANSACTION (LOS GATOS CREEK PARK).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS that:
1. The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby
approve and authorize execution of the Joint Powers Agreement for the
purchase of real property between the Town of Los Gatos and the Midpeninsula
Regional Open Space District, a copy of which is attached hereto and by
reference made a part hereof, and authorizes the Mayor or other appropriate
officers to execute the agreement on behalf of the Town;
2. The Town Manager of the Town of Los Gatos shall cause to be
given appropriate notice of acceptance to the District. The Town Manager
further is authorized to execute any and all other documents necessary or
appropriate to the closing of the transaction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting held this 20th day of
