A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING A DECISION OF ME
TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Ken Camp has duly and regularly filed an appeal with the Town
Council, from a decision of the Town Planning Commission as follows: Denial of
a Subdivision and Conditional Use Permit for determination of precise density and
construction of a four -unit condominium at 14991 Winchester Boulevard.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Council. on April 20,1981.
WHEREAS, the 'Sown Council has determined that the decision of the Town
Planning Commission should be affirmed.
BE IT RESOLVED:
The decision of the Town Planning Commission is affirmed, and the appeal
denied, on the following grounds:
1) The proposed use is contrary to the General Plan designation of a
transportation corridor;
2) The proposed use for condo -lu—, -,Is is contrary to the General Plan
statement of need. for rental units; and
3) Use permit findings of public benefit cannot be made because it is
contrary to the public benefit to build housing in a transportation corridor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos this 20th day of April, 1981, by 'the following votes:
