A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DAVID
ELDON BEVERLY
WHEREAS, DAVID ELDON BEVERLY of 229 Vista del Monte, Los Gatos,
California, has been a resident of the Town of Los Gatos
for the past four years; and
WHEREAS, Dave has been a member of Los Gatos Troop 539 (Redwood
District, Santa Clara Council) of the Boy Scouts of
America since 1977; and
WHEREAS, as a member of Troop 539 Dave has earned his Eagle Scout
Award for his joint participation with the Los Gatos
Chamber of Commerce in the construction of the newspaper
rack project in the Town Plaza, adjacent to the Los Gatos
Post Office, resulting in a total of 300 hours of volun-
teer labor; and
WHEREAS, as a member of Troop 539 Dave has earned twenty -two merit
badges, where only eleven are required to become an Eagle
Scout; and
WHEREAS, Dave will be honored at a special Eagle Ceremony at the
Los Gatos Recreation Center on the night of March 27, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, does hereby commend DAVID ELDON BEVERLY for
his outstanding service and dedication to this community effort, and
does further congratulate him on his attainment of the rank of Eagle
Scout in Los Gatos Troop 539 of the Boy Scouts of America.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting held on the 16th day of March, 1981,
by the following vote:
