A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE LOS GATOS
CHRISTIAN CHURCH JUNIOR HIGH OUTREACH BASKETBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, the Los Gatos Christian Church Junior High Outreach Basketball
Team represented the Town of Los Gatos in the recent SANCRA
Basketball Tournament; and
WHEREAS, the Los Gatos Christian Church team, captained jointly by
Gary Gatiss, Lance Jordan, Joe Collins, John Hogue, and
J. T. Smethers, won the first place trophy as participants in
the Santa Clara County Basketball Tournament; and
WHEREAS, Outreach Coach Mike Worley, on behalf of the Junior High
Basketball Team, graciously presented the Town Council with
the first place trophy for safekeeping until the 1982 season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos that the following players (all members of the Los Gatos Christian
Church Junior High Outreach Basketball Team) be congratulated for this
outstanding achievement:
