ORDER VACATING A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC
PEDESTRIAN ACCESS EASEMENT LYING
ENTIRELY IN PARCEL "A ", FORBES MILL.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has proceeded
under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 (Section 8300 through 8331)
of the Streets and Highways Code, concerning vacation of a portion of the
public pedestrian access easement lying entirely in Parcel "A" (Forbes
Mill), consisting of a strip of land approximately 116 feet in length and
4 feet in width as described and shown on the attached Exhibits "A" and
"B "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code,
a Resolution of Intention was passed, a noticed hearing held, and good
cause appearing therefor.
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds from
all of the evidence submitted that all of that portion of Parcel "A"
described above is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes,
and hereby makes its order vacating such portion of Parcel "A ", Forbes
Mill.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the Town Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
order, attested by her under the seal of the Town, to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a reguIar meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 17th day of February , 1981,

All that certain real property situate in the Town
of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
described as follows:
That portion of Easement No. 5 entitled, "EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC ACCESS FROM MAIN STREET TO FORBES MILL ",
lying in Parcel "A ", as said easement and parcel
are shown on that certain map entitled, "TRACT 6700"
filed November 16, 1979 in Book 454 of Maps at
Pages 1 through 19, Santa Clara County Records.
