A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION
FOR MAY 12, 1981 IN RESPONSE. TO A
REFERENDUM PETITION CONCERNING TOWN
ORDINANCE NO. 1485 REZONING PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE VILLA VASONA
WHEREAS, a referendum petition concerning Ordinance
No. 1485 rezoning to PD property commonly known as the Villa
Vasona, located at 612 West Parr Avenue in the Town of Los
Gatos has been filed with the Town Clerk and the Clerk has
certified the petition in the manner provided in Elections
Code Section 4054.
THE TOWN COUNCIL THEREFORE RESOLVED:
1. A special election is called, to be held May 12, 1981
as provided in Elections Code Section 40SS, for purpose of
submitting Ordinance No. 1485 to the voters of the Town, in the
form set forth in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto.
2. Staff is hereby authorized to contract with the County
Registrar of Voters for conduct of the election.
3. The Council hereby consents to partial or complete
consolidation of the election with any other election in the
County called on the same day.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Tom: of Los Gatos this 17th day of February , 19 31, by the
following votes:
