A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE,
CIRCULATION, ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
ELEMENTS AND THE LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, under Government Code section 65355, the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos conducted a public hearing for consideration of amendments
to the General Plan on May 19, June 16, and August 4, 1980, and
WHEREAS, during these hearings the Town Council considered all of the
items shown in Resolution No. 80 -3 of the Planning Commission.
RESOLVED: The Town Council adopts the following changes or additions:
a. The Land Use Plan be amended to change the land use
designations for the area in the vicinity of Pollard
Road and More Avenue as shown on attached Exhibit A.
b. The Land Use Plan and Environmental Resources Management
Element be amended to delete the Laurel Avenue reservoir
as water - oriented recreation as shown on attached Exhibit B.
c. The Land Use Plan and Land Use Element be amended to add a
professional designation to the Alberto Way basin as shown
on attached Exhibit C.
d. Add subsection "G" to the text of Part II of Section 1,
Land Use Element, as follows:
(a) Total development of the land in the Alberto Way
basin (including existing and future) will be
limited to the potential traffic generation of the
proposed uses. The limit is 3,500 trips per day on
Alberto Way north of Saratoga Avenue:

Further, there shall be no access from the basin to
Pine Avenue.

e. The Land Use Plan and Circulation Element be amended to add
the "Garth" road pattern as shown on attached Exhibit D.
f. The Land Use Plan be amended to change the land use designation
in the vicinity of Blossom Hill Road, Harwood Road and Belwood
Gateway as shown on attached Exhibit E.
g. The Land Use Plan and Environmental Resources Management
Element be amended to delete the Los Gatos Golf Course as
shown on attached Exhibit F.
FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the above amendments will
not have a significant impact on the environment, and makes the Negative
Declaration.
