RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
QUITCLAIM DEED AND PAYMENT TO SAN
JOSE WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, the subdividers of Tract 3907 granted Water System Easements
within Tract 3907 to the TOWN OF LOS GATOS; and
WHEREAS, the Subdivider of Tract 6118 deposited $7,000.00 with the
TOWN OF LOS GATOS on the basis that these funds would be paid to SAN JOSE
WATER WORKS at such time as SAN JOSE WATER WORKS assumes ownership and the
responsibility for operation and maintenance of the WOODED VIEW MUTUAL
WATER CO. in Tract 3907; and
WHEREAS, SAN JOSE WATER WORKS is willing to accept, operate, and
maintain said water system.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Quitclaim Deed from the TOWN OF LOS GATOS to SAN JOSE WATER
WORKS for the areas designated on the Map of Tract 3907 as
"Water Service Easement" is approved, and the Mayor is authorized
to sign on behalf of the Town.
2. The Town Clerk is authorized to pay $7,000.00 to SAN JOSE WATER
WORKS upon receipt of evidence satisfactory to the Town Engineer
that SAN JOSE WATER WORKS has accepted the WOODED VIEW MUTUAL
WATER SYSTEM, including the responsibility for operation and
maintenance of the system.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a reeular meeting of the Town Council

1980' by the following vote:
