A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE
LOS GATOS HILLSIDE SPECIFIC PLAN
WHEREAS, under Government Code section 65355, the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos conducted a public hearing for consideration of amendments
to the Los Gatos Hillside Specific Plan commencing on May 19, 1980, and
WHEREAS, during this hearing the Town Council considered all of the
items shown in Resolution No. 80 -4 of the Planning Commission.
RESOLVED: The Town Council adopts the following changes and additions:
a. Delete the loop road connection between Prospect Avenue and
Foster Road and between Tourney Road and Quarry Road and add
the "Garth" road connection between Foster Road, Tourney
Road and Spring Street as shown on attached Exhibit A.
b. The legend on the Los Gatos Hillside Specific Plan map be
amended to delete "proposed roads on Town plan only" as shown
on attached Exhibit B.
c. Amend Sub -area 7 - Novitiate - Guadalupe College to read:
SUB -AREA 7 - NOVITIATE - GUADALUPE COLLEGE
This sub -area is largely undeveloped with most of the property
owned by two parties. Approximately one -half of the area has
slopes exceeding 50 %. The area is outside the Town boundary
but approximately 30% lies within the Urban Service Area
Boundary. There are presently no roads or other public
facilities in the area except a sewer main serving Guadalupe
College. The only road recommended for this area is a road
connecting Guadalupe College to Highway 17. This road will be
the only access for Guadalupe College.
Because of the lack of circulation, the density for Sub -area 7
should be 5 -40 acres per dwelling unit.

FURTHER RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that the above amendments
will not have a significant impact on the environment, and makes the
Negative Declaration.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at
a regular meeting held this 19th day of May 1980, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Marlyn J. Rasmussen, Peter
W. Siemens, Brent N. Ventura and Thomas J. Ferrite
