A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS
OP THE GENERAL MUNTCIPAL ELEC'T'ION
HELD APRIL 8, 1980
WHEREAS, a genera! municipal election was held in the Town of Los
Gatos on Tuesday, the 8th day of April, 1980 and was conducted in form and
manner as required by the Law of the State of California governing the
elections of General Law Cities, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Total number of vote: cas; was 5923, including
absentee ballots.
2. The number of candidates for the Office of Councilmember
who received votes was six.
3. The number of candidates for the Office of Treasurer who
received votes was one.
4. The number of candidates for the Office of Clerk was two
That the name= of the persons voted for, the offices for which they
were voted, and the number of votes received by each of said persons in each
of said precincts, together with the absentee votes, together with the whole
number of votes which they reciived in the entire 'Town are as follows:

RESOLVED, therefore, that a", t;he said general municipal etection
held in the Town of Los Gatos, April 8, 1980, the following persons were
elected to the following offices, respectively
1. Brent N. Ventura and Marlyn Tinker Rasmussen were each
elected a member of the Town Council for the full term
of four years.
2. James A. Stoops was elected Town Treasurer for the full
term of four years.
3. Rose E. Aldag was elected Town Clerk for the futl term
of four years.
RESOLVED FUR TER: That the Clerk shall enter, upon the records of
this Council the results of said Genera] Munic.ipaI etection and shall. deliver
to each person elected a Certificate of Ejection duly signed and authenticated
by her and she shall impose the constitutional oath and have them subscribe
theron, whereupon, they shall. be inducted to the :respective offices to which
they have been elected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 1980 by the following
