A RESOLUTION COMMENDING EUGENE L. RAYE
WHEREAS, EUGENE L. RAYS, during the period October 1978 to April 1980 has,
in addition to many of his regular duties as an Engineering Technician in the
Town of Los Gatos Engineering Department, served as Project Coordinator for the
construction of the Los Gatos Downtown Neighborhood Center; and
WHEREAS, this assignment included coordinating, scheduling and supervising
the efforts of seven contractors on eleven separate construction contracts, plus
additional work done by Town crews; and
WHEREAS, the project has resulted in a community facility of which all
citizens of Los Gatos can be proud; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rays has carried out his responsibilities in this assignment
in an outstanding manner; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition and commendation.
RESOLVED, that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby render, with special
appreciation, commendation and thanks to EUGENE L. RAYE for the contribution of
outstanding public service to the Town of Los Gatos and its citizens.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting held on the 7th day of April, 1980, by the
following vote:
