RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING CHRISTINE L. FISCHER
FOR EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, CHRISTINE L. FISCHER was hired by the Town on January 4, 1988,
and appointed Town Engineer of the Town of Los Gatos on March 19, 1989; and
WHEREAS, since that time CHRISTINE has devoted countless hours of
personal dedication to ensure that the Town's government has delivered
responsive, quality services to the community, and developed an outstanding
working relationship both with the community and Town staff; and
WHEREAS, CHRISTINE'S creative, naturally ebullient, and professional
style caused her to improve employee morale through her work on the Employee
Recognition Committee, and as one of the founding members of the Los Gatos Town
Employees' Foundation; and
WHEREAS, CHRISTINE can be particularly proud that her efforts in
dealing with the public have served the Town exceptionally well during the
moments and months following the October 17, 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake; and
WHEREAS, CHRISTINE'S managerial skills were especially well
demonstrated by her ability to initiate construction of Parking Lot #4, and to
see that numerous Town projects were completed in an expeditious manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that it is with deep appreciation that
the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos hereby renders its thanks to CHRISTINE
L. FISCHER for her contributions to the Town of Los Gatos during her tenure as
Town Engineer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 19th day of February, 1991 by the following
vote:
