RESOLUTION 1991-57
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING FUNDING FOR "A PLACE FOR PEENS"
WHEREAS, "A Place For Teens" has requested assistance in development of a facility;
WHEREAS, the Town Council agrees that such assistance should be provided.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos will provide
financial assistance:
1. Property transfer and site development $28,000
2. Utility undergrounding $14,000
3. Shell construction and development fees $75,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following conditions and fees are applicable:
1) "Teens" and selected contractor shall provide the Town with proof of
"Workmen's Compensation" and general liability insurance before any work
begins as per Town's accepted standards;
2) "Teens" and selected contractor will sign a hold -harmless agreement;
3) Selected contractor shall provide payment and performance bonding equal to
the full amount of improvements performed by the contractors;
4) "Teens" and selected contractor shall be responsible for timely completion and
quality of work performed by the "Teens" and their subcontractors;
5) Selected Contractor shall be responsible for liquidated damages for work not
completed in a timely and work person like manner All change orders shall
include (in writing) the number of days for completion.

"A Place For Teens" shall pay fees:
1) Architecture and Site Application $2,300
2) Conditional Use Permit 300
3) Environmental Fees (to be considered) 1,750
4) Traffic Impact Fees waived
5) Building Permit to be determined
6) Construction/Storm to be determined
7) Park Taxes waived
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the April 15th day of 1991, by the following vote.
