Attachment 03March 15, 2018 Arn Andrews Assistant Town Manager Town of Los Gatos 110 E Main Street Los Gatos, CA 95030 Dear Mr. Andrews, My name is Ryan Maas and I represent the owners of the El Gato Penthouse. The principals of the El Gato Penthouse have been long term members of the Los Gatos community and are also supportive of many endeavors that help provide education to individuals. The proposal that we reviewed consisted of a maximum of two two bedroom dwellings with two accessory dwelling units and 8 parking spaces. We are supportive of this proposal because it is our understanding that this will not require the removal of any trees along or a widening of Dittos Lane. We believe it strikes a reasonable balance between community impact and positive outcomes. We are willing to work with Ms. Chaffin and SupportTeacherHousing.org to see that her proposal for Teacher Housing on Dittos Lane becomes a reality including granting an easement with the following two conditions. The first condition is that when repairs must be made to the portion under easement that costs are shared appropriately between us and the development, one possible allocation is the ratio of parking spaces. The second condition is that we believe Dittos Lane to be fragile and are concerned about any construction traffic causing damage to the existing road surface, any such damage caused by the construction or development must be repaired.
