To the Town,
My name is Jennifer Croll and I have been a resident of Los Gatos since my birth 1968. I am also a business owner and
have seen many changes in our charming community over the years. My mother currently still operates the longest
running business in Los Gatos, The Maids' Quarters. Given these facts, I believe we are justified in communicating our
opinions as to where the Town ought to be directing their development efforts. Nick Difu is also a local business owner
that has exemplified what it takes to be successful in this town. He is a hard working, ethical and creative force who has
championed a loyal following of customers for many years. I believe the venture that he is proposing will be a great
addition to our town and will prove to be one of the necessary draws to our community given the eminent challenges
we continue to face with beach traffic and the future North 40 Project.

My husband and I have been eating at Nick's Next Door for years and Nick's on Main before that. Nick's food has always
been a step above the rest. His hospitality is also top notch! We would welcome and frequent a raw bar owned and run

Dear Mr. Mullin,
I live directly opposite College Ave. from the subject property- a distance of less than 50 feet. My living room sliding glass
door opens on to College Ave. Events- especially noise- at this property have a direct impact on my daily living.
During operations of the current tenant- The Cigar Club- there have been several occasions in which patrons were loud
and drunk and behaved inappropriately toward me while I was in my own apartment. Unfortunately, the management was
less than helpful about the problem and I was forced to call the Los Gatos police.
The documents online do not specify the amount of outdoor seating- or activities- that will be allowed at thisrestaurant.
Can you please upload, or email to me directly, planning information that would relate to outdoor seating and how it will
be addressed by the applicant?
I am particularly concerned with the potential impacts of crowd noise after a certain hour, drunken behavior, and
increased artificial lighting. I'm eager to see how you address these items in your staff report.
