RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONTINUING CERTAIN DEPARTMENTAL
FEES, RATES AND CHARGES, AND
AMENDING CERTAIN FEES, RATES AND CHARGES
RESOLVED, that certain imposed fees for Building and Engineering Services,
Community Services, General Administration Services, and Parks, Forestry & Maintenance be
continued.
RESOLVED, that certain imposed fees for Library, Planning, and Police be amended.
RESOLVED, that the amended fees for these departments will be effective 60 days from
date of adoption of this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution repeals Resolution No. 1994 -76.

All application fees are to be paid at the time the applications are submitted to the Planning Department.
If the applicant withdraws the application prior to processing the application to a Planning Commission
hearing, 40% of the paid application fee shall be refunded to the applicant at the discretion of the Planning
Director. All other fees are nonrefundable.

2. BUILDING PERMIT FEES
A. Permit Issuance
The fee for issuing a building permit shall be: $22.00
B. Building Permit
The fee for each Building Permit shall be based
upon the following valuation of each building
or structure for which a permit is issued:

$501 to $2,000 $22 for the first $500 plus $2.75 for
each additional $100 or fraction thereof,

C. STATE OF CALIFORNIA TITLE 24 PART 2 ENERGY AND ACCESSIBILITY CODE
AND REGULATION PLAN REVIEW AND INSPECTION FEES
A surcharge shall be added to the building permit fee for the cost to plan review and inspect
for compliance with State of California Title 24 Regulations. Fifty percent (50 %) building
permit fee.
D. PLAN REVIEW FEE
A plan review fee shall be charged at the time of filing application. Sixty -five percent (65 %)
building permit fee.
ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES
A. Permit Issuance
The fee for issuing each electrical permit shall be: $22
