RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING EXTENSION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH THE CHRYSLER REALTY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos entered into a rental agreement for the property at
620 Blossom Hill Road for use in set construction for a community- oriented Halloween event in
1995; and,
WHEREAS, the rental agreement covered the period of September 6, 1995 through
November 5, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, the Chrysler Realty Corporation has offered to extend the rental agreement
on a month -by -basis at no additional charge; and,
WHEREAS, the use of the building is needed to store sets, costumes, and other items
gathered by the Volunteers In Policing, and may be used for the VIP Annual Rummage Sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town agrees to the extension of the
rental agreement with the Chrysler Corporation, as described in Exhibit A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of April, 1996 by the following vote:

The Lease Agreement dated August 30, 1995 by and between Chrysler Realty Corporation,
as Landlord, and The Town of Los Gatos, CA, as Tenant, currently provides in paragraph 2 that the
lease term shall terminate on November 5, 1995. Landlord agrees that the lease is extended on a
month to month basis, provided, however, that Landlord has the right to terminate the lease and
Tenant shall vacate the premises upon Landlord giving Tenant thirty (30) days written notice. This
agreement shall not in any way void or negate any of the other terms of the Lease Agreement, and
in all respects shall remain in force and effect. The continued possession of Tenant on the premises
covered by the Lease Agreement shall be evidence that Tenant agrees to this modification.
In the event that Tenant desires to terminate the lease, either by the 5th of November, or at
any time thereafter, please contact the undersigned so that an orderly transition can be accomplished
and the building secured. We would request that Tenant give Landlord at least two weeks notice of
the desire of Tenant to terminate their possession under the Lease Agreement.
I am sorry that I will not be able to be in Los Gatos on Halloween, however, I hope that the
event is successful.
