RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RENEWING
THE ROSS CREEK LEASE WITH THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, in 1971 as part of the Los Gatos Village planned development the Town
entered into a twenty -five (25) year lease agreement with the Santa Clara County Flood
Control and Water District, now known as the Santa Clara Valley Water District, and
WHEREAS, at the option of the Town the existing lease may be renewed for one
additional period of twenty -five (25) years, and
WHEREAS, renewal of the lease will satisfy the intent of the ordinance that
established the open area for the planned development.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
does hereby exercise it's option to renew the existing Ross Creek Lease with the Santa Clara
Valley Water District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 2nd day of December, 1996 by the following vote:
