RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE
ELEMENT OF THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN
RELATING TO THE OLD TOWN CENTER
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65353, the Town Council
conducted a public hearing for consideration of an amendment to the Land Use Element of the
Los Gatos Downtown Specific Plan on December 16, 1996.
WHEREAS, during this hearing the Planning Commission considered Downtown
Specific Plan Amendment DSP -95 -1 relating to the elimination of Policy 14 which prohibits
the construction of a commercial building over the Old Town depressed parking lot.
RESOLVED: The Town Council finds that Los Gatos Downtown Specific Plan
Amendment DSP -95 -1 is (a) internally consistent with the Downtown Specific Plan, and (b)
that all proceedings have been conducted in compliance with the provisions of Government
Code Section 65350 et seq.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the 2nd
day of December, 1996, by the following vote:
