A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE
ELEMENT OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS GENERAL PLAN,
WHEREAS, under Government Code Section 65351, the Planning Commission
conducted a public hearing for consideration of an amendment to the Land Use
Element of the General Plan on May 14, 1975 and recommended the following:
Change the designation for the study area shown on Exhibit A
from Medium Density Urban Residential; 5 -12 dwellings per net
acre to Lowest Density Urban Residential; 0 -5 dwellings per
net acre.
WHEREAS, the Town Council conducted a public hearing concerning the
recommendation of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the study area is and will continue to be physically isolated
from other areas by freeways, Los Gatos Creek and the percolation ponds, and
deserves special consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos does hereby approve said amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS this 16th day of June, 1975, by the following votes:
