A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF
ESTABLISHING UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1978 -1, PROJECT
NO. 226 -UU- UNIVERSITY AVENUE NORTH OF BLOSSOM HILL ROAD
WHEREAS, Article III of Chapter 32 (Sections 32 -14 through 32 -23) of the
Los Gatos Town Code, provides procedures for the establishment of Underground
Utility Districts and requires a public hearing for consideration of such
district; and
WHEREAS, the Town staff has proposed the establishment of Underground
Utility District 1978 -1, Project No. 226 -UU, and has recommended that the
boundaries of said District be as described in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing will be held on
July 17, 1978, to consider the establishment of said Underground Utility
District. The hearing will be at the meeting of the Town Council which will
begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main
Street, Los Gatos, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to notify
all affected property owners and utilities, at least thirty (30) days in
advance of said hearing, by mailing each a "Notice of Hearing" in the same
form as that notice annexed hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS on the 5th day of June , 1978, by the following vote:

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
will hold a public hearing on July 17, 1978, to ascertain whether the
public necessity, health or safety requires the removal of poles and
overhead wires and associated overhead structures from the public
streets, alleys, or ways, and the underground installation of wires and
facilities for supplying electric, communication, or similar or
associated services, within the area designated "Underground Utility
District No. 1978 -1, Project No. 226 -UU," a description of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and made a part hereof by reference.
The hearing will be at the meeting of the Town Council which will begin
at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main
Street, Los Gatos, California.
