A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS CAMINO DEL
SOL NO. 2 TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, on April 12, 1978, the Local Agency Formation Commission
of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, pursuant to a petition
signed by all the owners of land within the territory to be annexed,
approved the annexation of that hereinafter described area, designated
as Camino del Sol No. 2 to the Town of Los Gatos and, by their
Resolution 78 -67, directed the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
to initiate proceedings to annex said territory without notice, hearing
or election, in the manner described in Section 35221 of the Government
Code of the State of California and made the following findings:
1. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA, Class #15119(b).
2. The territory is "Uninhabited" as defined in Section 35038 of
the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the findings of the Local
Agency Formation Commission in Resolution 78 -67 are correct and the
territory proposed for annexation is situated in the unincorporated
area of the County of Santa Clara and is contiguous with the municipal
boundaries of the Town of Los Gatos;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal corporation of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to the pro-
visions of Sections 35151, 35221 and 35234 of the Government Code of
the State of California, the annexation to the Town of Los Gatos of
that territory designated as Camino del Sol No. 2 and described in
real property description and map attached hereto, marked Exhibits
"A" and "B," respectively, is approved, and that the same be annexed
to the Town of Los Gatos.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of these annexation
proceedings the territory annexed will be taxed in Town of Los Gatos
Tax Rate A. including taxes for existing bonded indebtedness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is authorized and is
hereby directed, pursuant to Section 35350 of the Government Code, to
prepare under seal a certified copy of this resolution giving the date
of passage, and immediately transmit same along with a remittance to
cover the fees required by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code to
the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission,of
Santa Clara County.

TOWN OF LOS GATOS held on the ist day of May , 1978) by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Thomas J. Ferrito, John B.
Lochner, Peter W. Siemens and Mardi Gualtieri.
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None.
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS None.

Ali that reol property situate in the County of Santa Clara, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 10, Tract 320 as said
lot and tract are shown on that Record of Survey filed in Book 11
of Maps at Page 1 in the Office of the Recorder of Santa Clara County,
said corner also being the point of intersection of the Southeasterly
line of Camino Del Sol, as said street is shown on said Record of
Survey with the Easterly line of National Avenue No. 6 Annexation to
the Town of Los Gatos; thence along said Southeasterly line of Camino
Del Sol North 65 032' East 119.03 feet; thence on a curve to the right
having a radius of 30.00 feet through an angle of 102 046153" with an
arc length of 53.82 feet to a point on the Westerly line of Lester
Lane as said Lane is shown on said Record of Survey; thence along last
said line South 11 °41'07" 65.43 feet; thence South 78 018'53" West
152.72 feet to the intersection thereof with said Easterly line of
said annexation; thence along last said line North 11 °41'07" West
68.35 feet to the point of beginning.
