RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
PUBLIC DIALOGUE CONSORTIUM TO PROVIDE FACILITATION CONSULTANT
SERVICES
NOT TO EXCEED $20,000
WHEREAS, the Public Dialogue Consortium (PDC) is a non - profit group of
practitioners who work together to improve the quality of public communication in local
communities; and
WHEREAS, over the past four fiscal years, the Town of Los Gatos has used the
facilitation/communication services of PDC to consult, design, and facilitate a variety of key
meetings, includingTown Council and Executive Team Retreats, service priority planning processes,
and strategic goal setting; and
WHEREAS, Town Code provides the Town Manager with the authority to enter into
agreements with a scope of work not to exceed $25,000. Agreements requiring a scope of work in
excess of $25,000 require Council approval.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara,
State of California, to authorize the Town Manager to execute an agreement with Public Dialogue
Consortium (PDC) to provide facilitation/communication consulting services not to exceed $20,000.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of August, 2005 by the following vote:
