AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING SECTION 2 -14 OF THE TOWN CODE
RELATING TO REIMBURSEMENT OF TOWN MANAGER EXPENSES
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos hereby ordains:
SECTION 1.
Section 2 -14 of the Town Code of the Town of Los Gatos is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2 -14. Compensation: reimbursement of expenses.
The Town Manager shall receive such compensation as the Town
Council shall from time to time determine and fix by resolution, and
such compensation shall be a proper charge against such funds of the
Town as the Town Council shall designate.
The Town Manager shall be reimbursed for all sums necessarily
incurred or paid in the performance of Town duties, or incurred when
traveling on business pertaining to the Town under the direction of
the Town Council Reimbursement shall only be made when a request
for reimbursement has been submitted documenting the expenses which
is approved by the Mayor and subsequently ratified by the Council.
Ratification shall occur upon the approval of the payroll and /or
warrant registers.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted.
Within fifteen (15) days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk
shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the Town.

the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 1st day
of June , 1987 by the following vote.
