ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONSIDERING AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING
ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE USES PERMITTED
IN THE CM (CONTROLLED MANUFACTURING) ZONE
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
Section 4.74.020 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read:
SEC. 4.74.020: PERMITTED USES
Activities allowed in the CM zone must be those which would not
unreasonably interfere with residential uses in the vicinity or other
activities within the CM zone and which are in the following
categories:
(1) Activities involving controlled manufacturing, research and de-
velopment, wholesaling, warehousing and other light industrial
uses.
(2) Sales to the ultimate consumer of articles manufactured on the
premises to the customer's order.
(3) Professional and administrative offices.
Examples of activities which are not proper in the CM zone are
retailing except articles manufactured and sold as provided in subpart
(2), personal services, vehicles sales and service, and medical
offices.
SECTION II
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted.
Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause it
to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circu-
lated in the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on July 10 1989
and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting of the Town Council on July 17 , 1 989•
