AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING SECTION 16.43.2 OF ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 16 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
TOWN CODE RELATING TO ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT ON HICKS ROAD
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
Based on an engineering and traffic survey, Section 16.43.2 of Article IV
of Chapter 16 of the Los Gatos Town Code entitled, "Establishing speed limits
on certain streets ", is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. Insert the following location into the list of streets under the
heading of PRIMA FACE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 30 M.P.H.
a. Hicks Road from Burke Road to Town limits.
SECTION II.
The Director of Parks, Forestry and Maintenance Services shall post
appropriate signs giving notice hereof on Hicks Road at the locations he
determines are suitable.
SECTION III.
This is Ordinance takes effect thirty days after the date it is adopted.
Within fifteen days after this Ordinance, the Town Clerk shall cause it to be
published once in a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated
in the Town. The foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly introduced at a
meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 16th day of
January, 1990.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting held this 5th day of February, 1990, by the following vote:
