Ord 1835 - Amending the Zoning Ordinance to Allow New Secondary Dwelling Units Only in the R-1D, RM and PD ZonesORDINANCE 1835 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW NEW SECONDARY DWELLING UNITS ONLY IN THE R -11), RM AND PD ZONES THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS: SECTION I. Section 3.97.030 of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended to read: Section 3.97.030 SCOPE New secondary dwelling units are allowed in those zones as shown in the table of Conditional Uses (Section 5.20.205) as an accessory use to a primary dwelling. Secondary units are permitted in any PD (Planned Development Overlay) zone subject to being part of the Planned Development Ordinance. SECTION II. Section 3.97.150 of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby deleted. SECTION III. The Table of Conditional Uses in Section 5.20.205.4.j is amended to indicate that a new secondary dwelling unit is allowed only in the R -M and R -11) zones. SECTION IV. This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on July 2, 1990 and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town Council on July 16, 1990.
