REQUESTING APPROVAL TO OPERATE A RETAIL MARKETPLACE,
WINE ESTABLISHMENT, AND CAFE (CENTO NOVE) WITH BEER AND
WINE SERVICE ON PROPERTY ZONED C-2:LHP. APN 529-01-025.
Clarification of Condition No. 5. To ensure that wine does not dominate the retail sales, as
required by condition number five, the Operating Agreement will specify that the wine sales area
shall be less than 50% of the total retail sales square footage.
Clarification of September 19, 2011, Town Council Minutes: On Page 9 of the September 19,
2011, Town Council minutes, there are comments from Council and the Town Attorney
regarding this project that are listed following the motion and the Council vote on the motion. In
actuality, these comments were made prior to the vote on the motion, but were listed after to
keep the Council action adjacent to the motion. With some exceptions, this has been the
standard practice for noting such comments in the past. In the future, staff will either reorder the
presentation in the minutes or provide explicit notations that the comments were made prior to
the motion. This administrative change will be incorporated into the September 19, 2011,
minutes.
