MARKET PRICE HOUSING UNIT ON PROPERTY ZONED R-1:8:PD. APN
529-16-073.
STAFF REMARKS:
This Planned Development request first came before Council on July 25, 2011. The applicant
requested that the matter be continued to allow time to consider options that may be available to
partnership with Habitat for Humanity regarding the BMP unit (Attachment 7). The Council
granted the request and continued the project to September 19, 2011.
The applicant has requested another continuance to allow additional time to further consider
options for a potential partnership with Habitat for Humanity regarding the BMP unit
(Attachment 9). It is anticipated that the partnership matter would be resolved in six months.
Staff recommends that this matter be continued to a date uncertain. When the matter is ready for
hearing it will be re -noticed.

Our Client, Canyon Oaks of Los Gatos, LLC, is currently in discussion with Habitat
For Humanity to support their efforts by having them construct the designated BMP
residence in the approved Placer Oaks PD.
With the help of your Staff the discussions are proceeding well, but have not
concluded as of this date. It's clear that more time is needed to finalize the many
details associated with such an effort.
Accordingly and on behalf of our Client, Canyon Oaks of Los Gatos, LLC, we are
requesting a. six-month continuance of our Appeal of the Planning commission
decision of June 8th
