MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/PLANNING COMMISSION STUDY SESSION
AUGUST 22, 2011
The Town Council and Planning Commission of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a
Study Session on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Police Operations
Building on Los Gatos Boulevard.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Town Council Present: Mayor Joe Pirzynski, Vice Mayor Steve Rice, Council
Member Steven Leonard's, Council Member Diane McNutt, and Council Member
Barbara Spector.
Absent: None.
Planning Commission Present: Chair Marico Sayoc, Vice Chair Marcia Jensen,
Commissioner John Bourgeois, Commissioner Charles Erekson, Commissioner
Thomas O'Donnell, Commissioner Margaret Smith, Commissioner Joanne Talesfore.
Absent: None.

Gail Randolph commented on concerns regarding the Toll House Hotel.
Kim Karloff commented on concerns regarding the Toll House Hotel.
Larry Lenhart commented on concerns regarding the Toll House Hotel.

Lee Quintana commented on the land use considerations related to the policies under
discussion,

STUDY SESSION AGENDA
1. Town Council/Planning Commission Joint Study Session on Potential
Amendments to the Town's Policy Regulating the Service of Alcoholic Beverages
and New Policy or Ordinance Adopting Standards and Permit Process for
Entertainment.
Staff Report: Wendie Rooney, Community Development Director
Town Council Members and Planning Commissioners provided input on suggested
changes to the Alcoholic Beverage Policy and on recommendations regarding an
entertainment policy or ordinance.
2. Town Council/Planning Commission Joint Study Session on Potential
Amendments to the Town's In -fill and Traffic Policies Regarding Community
Benefit
