MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS JOINT TOWN COUNCIL/PLANNING
COMMISSION/NORTH 40 ADVISORY COMMITTEE STUDY SESSION
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting on
Wednesday,. March 30, 2011 at 6:00 P.M.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
ROLL CALL
Town Council Members Present: Mayor Joe Pirzynski, Vice Mayor Steve Rice, Council
Member Steven Leonardis, and Council Member Diane McNutt.
Absent: Council Member Barbara Spector
Town Council/Planning Commission/North 40 Specific Plan Advisory Committee
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Verbal Communications were moved to the end of the agenda to provide the public
opportunity to speak on anything on or off the agenda.
DISCUSSION TOPICS
1. Introductions and Purpose of Meeting
Mayor Joe Pirzynski welcomed the participants to the Study Session, commented on
the purpose of the meeting, and invited participants to provide self -introductions.
2. Background
Debbie Rudd from RMMDesign Group provided background on the N. 40 Specific Plan.
Don Capobres from Grosvenor provided background on his company and approach to
working with the Town.
3. Issue Identification Exercise
RMMDesign led the participants in a brainstorming exercise regarding issues and
opportunities in several categories related to the development of the N. 40.
The participants were invited to indicate their preferences and dislikes through a "red
dot" exercise.
4. Next Steps
Debbie Rudd reviewed the next steps in the Specific Plan process, including several
community meetings and Advisory Committee meetings prior to returning to the
Planning Commission and Town Council.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Lee Quintana provided input regarding the N. 40 Specific Plan, which will be included
with input obtained at the community meetings.

The Study Session was adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
