BACKGROUND
The adopted FY 2010/11 — 2014/15 Capital Improvement Program designates funding for
improvement projects for the community and is consistent with the Town's goals to improve
public safety and the quality of Town streets. Providing functional and accessible pathways
around Oak Meadow Park has been identified as a key element in the operation of this park
facility.
The scope of this project included providing a paved pathway and service road from the existing
parking lot, along the creek fence line towards the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad facility and park
restrooms. Additionally, a new paved pathway was constructed around the main turf area in
order to provide access to the picnic areas, the. bandstand stage, and to connect the main pathway
along the creek fence line.
