RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ACCEPTING WORK OF HASTINGS DEVELOPMENT, DEVELOPER
THREE LOT SUBDIVISION AT 16321 SHANNON ROAD
AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION
FOR RECORDING BY TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, on August 31, 1998, the Development Review Committee approved Project
Application PRJ-98-108 relating to the development of property located at 16321 Shannon Road;
WHEREAS, Hastings Development, Developer has satisfactorily completed the work for
three lot subdivision, and the development is now ready for final approval and acceptance by the
Town.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State
of California that the work at 16321 Shannon Road by Hastings Development, Developer is hereby
accepted as complete.
FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal
corporation of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is authorized
and directed to execute the Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of Completion attached as Exhibit
A hereto.
FURTHER RESOLVED, ten (10% o) per cent of the cash deposit for performance will be
retained by the TOWN, or ten (10%) per cent of the face amount of the Faithful Performance Bond
will remain in effect for two years to secure performance of the DEVELOPER'S obligation to correct
any deficiency in the work or to remedy any other default. The two year period for ten (10%) per
cent cash retention and bond obligation begins on the date of final acceptance.
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed, to
transmit this Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of Completion to the Recorder of Santa Clara
County for recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 5tn day of June, 2000 by the following vote.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hastings Development, Developer substantially
completed the work in January 2000. The work generally consists of the construction of the public
improvements fora three lot subdivision at 16321 Shannon Road, in the TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, and was completed, approved, and accepted.
The Surety accompanying the contract is Far West Insurance Company, Bond No. 1364053
in the amount of $18,500.
