RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION 1982-101 THEREBY REPEALING
THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted the General Plan 2000 on July 17,
2000; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Specific Plan is no longer needed as the
implementation measures have either been completed or carried forward to the
General Plan 2000; and
WHEREAS, the relevant policies and implementing strategies of the
Downtown Specific Plan have been incorporated into the General Plan 2000 and
strengthened; and
WHEREAS, the intent of the Town Council in adopting the General Plan 2000
was to repeal the Downtown Specific Plan;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Town Council hereby rescinds
Resolution 1982-101 thereby repealing the Downtown Specific Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of August, 2000 by the
following vote:

Mayor Steven Blanton.
