AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNA"ISD
"OKA ROAD NUMBER ONE ANNEXATION"
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
THE TGVIN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS on the 6th day of September , 19 60 , the Council
of the Town of Los Gatos did pass and adopt a Resolution giving -
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the
-.Town of Los Gatos, said territory being therein designated as
"OKA. ROAD NUMBER ONE ANNEXATIONS" , and said action being
taken by the Council of said Town as the legislative body of the
Town pursuant to a written petition therefore, said Resolution
describing the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be
annexed to said Town; and
WHEPXAS, said Resolution did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the said Council of said Town
would wear protests made by any person owning real property with-
in the territory proposed to-be annexed, the time of said hearing
being not less than twenty nor more than sixty days from the date
of the passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of October , 19 60 9
at the hour of 8.00 o'clock P.M. in the Los Gatos Council
Chambers in the Town Hall of the Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, said time and place being the
day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution for hearing protests
to said annexation, the said Council of said Town did hear and
pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation and did
determine that no protests to said proposed annexation have been
made by or on behalf of the owners of one-half of the value of
the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the equalized
roll, nor by public and private owners of equal to one-half of

the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by
said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Town of
Los Gatos, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Santa
Clara, and all of the procedural requirements of the annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, particularly Government Code
Sections 35300 and 35314 inclusive have been fully complied with;
NOWJ% THERWC , the said Council of the Town of ]Los Gatos
does hereby approve the annexation of said territory, hereinafter
described, to the Town of Los Gatos and does hereby further ordain
that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the Town of Los
Gatos.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the
Town of Los autos is hereby approved, is all that territory situate
in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:

Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of that certain Parcel One as
described in the Joint Tenancy Deed between Frank G. Greco and. Rose Greco,
and Pietro Giacomo Denevi and JoAnn Denevi, his wife, dated December 20, 1955,
recorded July 5, 1936 in Book 3541, Official Records, Page 283, Santa Clara
County Records, said point of beginning being also in the Town Limits Line
of the Town of Los Gatos;
Thence, Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of said Parcel
One and along the Town Limits Line of the Town of Los Gatos to the point of
intersection with the Easterly line of the State of California Access Road,
also known as Oka Road, as the same now exists;
Thence, Northeasterly along said Easterly line of said State of
California Access Road to the point of intersection with the Northeasterly
line of Lot C, "Walker Partition", case No. 11758;
Thence, Northwesterly along the Northeasterly line of said Lot C,
Walker Partition to the-point of intersection with'the Easterly Town Limits
line of the Town of Los Gatos, as said Easterly Town Limits line was establish-
ed by Town of Los Gatos Ordinance No. 407, An Ordinance Amproving The Annexa-
tion of Certain Uninhabited Territory, Designated "Los Gatos Creek No. 2-A
Annexation" to the Town of Los Gatos;
Thence, following the various courses and distances of the Town Limits
line of the flown of Los Gatos in a generally Southerly direction to the point
of beginning.
