ADDENDUM
CONSIDER INTRODUCING ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TOWN CODE TO REQUIRE
ANY BUSINESS THAT REMAINS OPEN FOR 24 HOURS A DAY OR IS OPEN BETWEEN
2 AM AND 6 AM TO HAVE AN APPROVED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, ZONING
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT A-93-10. (Continued from 10-4-93)
Dan Rogers, the manager of the Kinko's Copy Center, has spoken to Mary Beth Rotermund, 15 Ashler
Avenue, located directly behind the copy center. Ms. Rotermund has submitted a letter complaining of glare
and noise emitted from Kinkos. (letter is attached to Council report dated November 1, 1993) As a result
of their discussion, Mr. Rogers will be installing vertical blinds to minimize light and glare from windows on
the west side of the building facing Ms Rotermund's residence and on the north side fronting Ashler Avenue.
Mr. Rogers stated he would like to keep the blinds open on the east side facing North Santa Cruz Avenue
and on the north side of the building facing the funeral home for security reasons.
Mr. Rogers has tried to contact June Miller, 19 Ashler Avenue without success. He is continuing to try to
meet with neighbors.
