RECOMMENDATION: Recognize outgoing Mayor Matthew Hudes and elect a Mayor and
Vice Mayor.
DISCUSSION:
Reorganization of the Outgoing Mayor
Each December, the Town Council elects a Mayor and Vice Mayor and recognizes the outgoing
Mayor for their service. Following recognition and comments for outgoing Mayor Hudes, the
Town Council will proceed with the annual reorganization as follows:
• Election of Mayor
• Remarks – Newly elected Mayor
• Election of Vice Mayor
• Remarks – Newly elected Vice Mayor
• Ceremonial Oath of Office given to newly elected Mayor and Vice Mayor
