SUBJECT: CODE COMPLIANCE QUARTERLY REPORT FOR JULY THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 2001.
RECOMMENDATION: Accept the Code Compliance quarterly report.
DISCUSSION:
During this quarter the Code Compliance Officer has met, and worked with other departments to
enhance their ability to abate code violations. In most cases the Code Officer can educate the
potential violator of the penalties involved and how to avoid a violation. This has been done with
the engineering, building, finance and public works departments. Numerous sign issues have come
up in the downtown area where the Code Compliance Officer made personal contact with the
business, explained the code and the violations were abated.

TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in the
Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:02 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2001,
in joint regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present: Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Sandy Decker,
Steve Glickman and Mayor/Chairman Joe Pirzynski.
Absent: None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Given by all in attendance.
CLOSED SESSION
Town Attorney, Orry Korb, reported that Council had met in Closed Session prior to this evening's
meeting pursuant to Government Code Sections 54957.6 and 54957 to discuss Labor Negotiations and
Employee Performance Evaluation. Lead Town Negotiator: Gary Rogers, Human Resources Manager.
Subject Title: Town Attorney. There was no reportable action taken. Items will return to Closed
Session for further discussion on October 29, 2001.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 to discuss Employee Appointment. Subject Title: Clerk
Administrator. There was no reportable action taken. Item will return to Closed Session for further
discussion on October 29, 2001.
