RECOMMENDATION:
Information only. The following matters were completed by June 30, 2003, or scheduled for
future Development Review Committee and Planning Commission consideration. (Unless
otherwise noted, all items listed as complete were approved or recommended for approval.)
During FY03, the majority of the applications filed remained consistent with the last fiscal year.
The biggest change was in the number of Architecture & Site applications filed for single family
residences which increased approximately 73% compared to last fiscal year. This increase is
attributed to the large subdivisions previously approved.
Another big change is that the number of Minor Residential applications (second story
additions/projection in setbacks/accessory structures)decreased approximately 30%. This
decrease is most likely attributed to the economy. The number of CDAC applications remained
low, which is consistent with the past fiscal years. This can also be attributed to the economy, as
well as the limited number of parcels available for large developments.
