The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting in person and via
teleconference to receive a Financial Management Training for Local Government.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 5:30 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Matthew Hudes, Vice Mayor Rob Moore, Council Member Mary Badame,
Council Member Rob Rennie, and Council Member Maria Ristow.
Absent: None.
Finance Commission:
Present: Chair Reiners, Vice Chair Monk, Commissioner Fischer, Commissioner Koen, and
Commissioner Rodgers.
Absent: None.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
No one spoke.
PRESENTATION
1. Financial Management Training for Local Government – Budgeting and Financial
Reporting Led by Experts from the Government Finance Officers Association
Chris Constantin, Town Manager, introduced the item and the presenter Katie Lugwig, Director
of Resource Development for the Government Finance Officers Association’s Research and
Consulting Center.
Katie Lugwig provided a presentation on budgeting and financial reporting for local
government.
The Town Council and Finance Commission received the presentation, engaged in discussion,
and asked clarifying questions.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:58 p.m.
