RECOMMENDATION:
Mayor Joe Pirzynski has appointed Council Members to various commission/boards/committees as shown on the
attached Council Committee Appointment Roster. Appointments are effective January, 2001.
DISCUSSION:
The information provided on agency contact and meetings has been updated where available. Staff is currently in the
process of contacting these agencies to develop a understanding of how each committee works, expectations of
committee members, time commitments, and other requirements.
We will then follow up with each of you to brief you as required in order to ensure a smooth transition to these
appointments.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
Is not a project defined under CEQA, and no further action is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:

Board. On Wednesday, November 29, the West
Valley Mayors Selection Committee confirmed the
appointment of the City of Campbell Council
Member, Jane P. Kennedy, as the West Valley
Cities regular VTA Board Member representative.
In addition, an Alternate must be appointed. The
Alternate rotates between the West Valley cities
and falls to the Town of Los Gatos for this next
year.

Motion by Mr. Attaway, seconded by Mr. Blanton, that Council adopt Resolution 2000-154 entitled,
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS APPROVING THE 1999-00 ANNUAL
REPORT FOR THE LOS GATOS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY. Carried unanimously
COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT /FOR YEAR 1999-2000 (20.09)
Motion by Mr. Attaway, seconded by Mr. Blanton, to accept and file the 1999-00 Comprehensive
Annual Financial Report, CAFR. Carried unanimously.
COUNCIL COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS/AS OF JANUARY 2001 (21.12)
Town Manager Figone noted that staff was following up on the meeting schedules of the regional
committees and would supply that information along with the expectations of those committees to
Council as soon as it was compiled.
Motion by Mr. Attaway, seconded by Mrs. Decker, to accept and file report concerning the various
regional committee appointments that Council has agreed to accept. Carried unanimously.
