TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in the
Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:02 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2001,
in joint regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present: Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Sandy Decker,
Steve Glickman and Mayor/Chairman Joe Pirzynski.
Absent: None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Given by all in attendance.
CLOSED SESSION
Town Attorney, Orry Korb, reported that Council had not met in Closed Session this evening.
PRESENTATIONS/MUSIC IN THE PLAZA SPONSORS (00.28)
Mayor Pirzynski made presentations to the Major Sponsors of the Annual Music in the Plaza Events
which are presented free to the public. The following sponsors were noted and the Mayor commented
on the fine performances and thanked the sponsors for their continued support for this program: Andale
Taqueria, Toll House Hotel, Bill Gould Design, Willow Street Wood -Fired Pizza, Domus, Washington
Mutual Bank, The Rotary Club of Los Gatos, Alain Pinel Realtors, Bob Lewis Volkswagen, C.B.
Hannegan's, Four Green Fields, Community Hospital of Los Gatos, Los Gatos Coffee Roasting
Company, Pizza My Heart, and The Rose Collection, Coldwell Banker, Courtside Club, My Orchids,
Theater on San Pedro Square, Tri-Quest, Wells Fargo, and Yoga Center of Los Gatos.
SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS (01.28)
Informational report regarding currently scheduled public hearings was received and filed.
RATIFICATION OF PAYROLL/SEPTEMBER 2001 (02.V)
Motion by Mr. Glickman, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that Council ratify the check register for the
payroll of September 2, 2001 through September15, 2001, paid on September 21, 2001, in the amount
of $490,344.46. Carried unanimously.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RATIFICATION/SEPTEMBER 2001 (03.V)
Motion by Mr. Glickman, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that Council ratify the accompanying check
registers for accounts payable invoices paid on September 14, 2001 and September 21, 2001, in the
amount of $426,599.35. Carried unanimously.

Informational item presenting future Town Meetings for Council and other Town Boards and
Commissions was received and filed.
