RECOMMENDATION:
Amend Town Council Meeting Schedule for 2000-2001 Fiscal Year to schedule a Council Retreat
on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at the Los Gatos Lodge, and reschedule 2001-2006 Preliminary
Capital Improvement Program and 2001-2006 Redevelopment Agency Budget hearing from April
16 to May 7, and reschedule adoption of resolutions approving 2001-2006 Capital Improvement
Program and adoption of 2001-2006 Redevelopment Agency Budget from May 21 to June 4, 2001.
DISCUSSION:
Staff is requesting a change in the Meeting Schedule to schedule a Council Retreat on Saturday,
February 10 at the Los Gatos Lodge, and to move the consideration of the preliminary 2001-2006
Capital Improvement Program and the 2001-2006 Redevelopment Agency Budget from April 16 to
May 7. This would bring the consideration of these two items into closer alignment with review of
next year's Operation Budget on May 21. Adoption of the CIP and the RDA Budget would then be
scheduled for June 4. Staff will attempt to limit the number of other public imput items for the
meetings in May to allow sufficient time for consideration of these budget matters.

Mr. Blanton announced that he had been named President of the KCAT Board this evening, and Vice
Chair of the Santa Clara Cities Association Legislative Committee.

Council for review.
