SUBJECT: AMEND TOWN COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR
2001-2002 ADDING JULY 16 STUDY SESSION ON THE PARKING
MANAGEMENT PLAN AND CORRECTING SEPTEMBER, JANUARY,
AND FEBRUARY MEETING DATES.
RECOMMENDATION:
Amend Town Council Meeting schedule for fiscal year 2001-2002 adding the July 16 study session
on the Parking Management Plan and correcting September, January and February meeting dates.
DISCUSSION:
A study session to review and discuss the Parking Management Plan has been scheduled for July 16
from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
The meeting schedule has also been amended to correct Council meeting dates for September 4,
January 22 and February 19. The previous schedule did not take into account holidays that occur
on September 3, January 21 and February 18.

RATIFICATION OF PAYROLL/MAY-JUNE 2001 (03.V)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council ratify the check registers
for the payrolls of May 26, 2001 through June 8, 2001, paid on June 15, 2001, in the
amount of $473,608.39. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Blanton absent.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RATIFICATION/JUNE 2001 (04.V)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council ratify the accompanying
check registers for accounts payable invoices paid on June 15, 2001 and June 22, 2001,
in the amount of $518,321.06. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Blanton absent.
TREASURER'S REPORT (05.02)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council accept Treasurer's report
for the month ended May 31, 2001 as submitted. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Blanton
absent.
COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE FOR 2001-2002/AMENDMENT (07.11&28)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council amend the Town Council
Meeting Schedule for 2001-2002 Fiscal Year, adding July 16, 2001 Town Council study session on the
Parking Management Plan, and correcting September 3rd to Tuesday, September 4, 2001; correcting
January 21 Sf to Tuesday, January 22, 2002; and correcting February 18`h to Tuesday, February 19, 2002.
Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Blanton absent.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (08.12)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council authorize the Community
Services Commission to appoint a member to the Santa Clara County Housing and Community
Development Citizen's Advisory Committee. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Blanton absent.
FARLEY ROAD 17435 AND 17443/COMMERCIAL-STORAGE/ORDINANCE 2087 (11.15)
Motion by Mrs. Decker, seconded by Mr. Glickman, that Council adopt Ordinance 2087 entitled,
ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
EFFECTING A ZONE CHANGE FROM LM TO LM:PD AT 17435 & 17443 FARLEY ROAD,
which was introduced at the regular Council meeting of June 18, 2001. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes.
Mr. Blanton absent.

Government in General:
Ray Davis, resident, criticized the staff in general. These comments, in full, may be heard on the tapes

HEARINGS
LANDSCAPING & LIGHTING DISTRICT #1/VASONA HEIGHTS BENEFIT ZONE (14.26)
Mayor Pirzynski announced that this was the time and place so noted for public hearing to consider
adopting resolution ordering the improvements and confirming the diagram and assessments for Fiscal
Year 2000-2001 for Landscaping and Lighting District #1, Vasona Heights Benefit Zone.
No one from the audience addressed this issue.
Motion by Mr. Pirzynski, seconded by Mrs. Decker, to continue the public hearing to July 16, 2001.
