Minutes of the Town Council Special Meeting – Closed Session
Tuesday, April 16, 2024
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting in-person and utilizing
teleconferencing means on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. to hold a Closed Session to
discuss anticipated litigation and labor negotiations.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 5:35 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Mary Badame, Vice Mayor Matthew Hudes, Council Member Rob Moore,
Council Member Rob Rennie, and Council Member Maria Ristow (teleconference).
Absent: None
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS (ONLY ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA)
None.
THE TOWN MOVED TO CLOSED SESSION ON THE FOLLOWING ITEM:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS (Gov. Code Section 54957.6)
Agency designated representatives: Town Council
Unrepresented Employee: Town Manager
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to
litigation pursuant to subdivision (d)(2) of Government Code Section 54956.9: 1 case
The Town Council reconvened in open session. The Town Attorney stated there was no
reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 6:51 p.m.
