Friday, March 15, 2024
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a special meeting in-person and utilizing
teleconferencing means on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss public employee
appointment in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b)(1) and to
consider selecting an executive recruiting firm for the Town Manager recruitment in open
session.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 4:00 P.M.

Present: Mayor Mary Badame, Vice Mayor Matthew Hudes, Council Member Rob Moore,
Council Member Rob Rennie (participating remotely under the Brown Act), Council Member
Maria Ristow.
Absent: None

THE TOWN COUNCIL MOVED TO CLOSED SESSION ON THE FOLLOWING ITEM: 1. Public Employee Appointment [Government Code Section 54957(b)(1)]

THE TOWN COUNCIL RECONVENED IN OPEN SESSION
Gabreille Whelan, Town Attorney, stated the Town Council met in closed session pursuant to
Government Code Section 54957(b)(1) there was no reportable action taken on the closed
session item.
2. Consider Selecting an Executive Recruiting Firm for the Town Manager Recruitment and
Provide Direction Regarding the Recruitment Process
Mayor Badame opened public comment.
No one spoke.
Mayor Badame closed public comment.
Town Council discussed the item.

The Mayor and Vice Mayor will conduct interviews of three recruitment firms, using interview
questions identified by the Town Council.
