MINUTES OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
AUGUST 6, 2024
The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a regular meeting on
August 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Sean Mullin, CDD Planning; Robert Gray, CDD Building; James Watson,
PPW Engineering; and Kenny Ip, SCCFD.
Absent: None.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
None.
CONSENT ITEMS
1. Approval of Minutes – July 9,2024
MOTION: Motion by James Watson to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by
Robert Gray.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. 16310 Shannon Road
Architecture and Site Application S-24-012
Requesting Approval for Demolition of an Existing Single-Family Residence and
Construction of a New Two-Story Single-Family Residence and Site Improvements
Requiring a Grading Permit on Property Zoned R-1:8. APN 532-42-001. Exempt
Pursuant to CEQA Section 15303(a): New Construction.
Property Owner: Malhar Mehta and Poorna Kumar

The project planner presented the staff report.
Opened Public Comment.
Jaclyn Greenmyer, Kohlsaat & Associates, Applicant
- Owners have met with many neighbors. There is a lot of space surrounding the structures.
They were careful with window placement. They chose materials of wood, stucco, and
stone slabs, to go with the terrain.
Closed Public Comment.
Committee members discussed the matter.
MOTION: Motion by Robert Gray to approve with required findings and
recommended conditions of approval. Seconded by Kenny Ip.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
Appeal rights were recited.
OTHER BUSINESS
None.

The meeting adjourned 10:05 a.m.
