Main Street Los Gatos, CA 95030 ● 408-354-6874 www.losgatosca.gov TOWN OF LOS GATOS DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE REPORT MINUTES OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING NOVEMBER 5, 2024 The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a regular meeting on November 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. ROLL CALL Present: Sean Mullin, Planning; Roy Alba, Building; Corvell Sparks, PPW Engineering; and Kenny Ip, SCCFD. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS Gus Who I have three items that I would like to bring up quickly, two are videos. One video is on Lynn Avenue showing traffic and there is no sidewalk and lacks lighting along the street which is a safety issue. I talked to Alexa, Town staff, about the upcoming increase water bills and surcharge of 12% on top of the 33% increase and I want people to be aware. The other clip I am sharing is around the election and there being fraud. There appears to be a second shooter based on this video from the dark web. One person with a rifle walks out and walks away, then another person comes out with a rifle, leans the rifle against the railing, then the previous person comes back and takes the rifle that was leaning, but looks around like he is doing it sneakily. CONSENT ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes – October 22,2024 MOTION: Motion by James Watson to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by Roy Alba. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. APN 410-13-009. The Project is Categorically Exempt Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15303(a): New Construction. Property Owner: Haishan Gong. Applicant: Chris Spaulding. Project Planner: Ryan Safty. The project planner presented the staff report. Opened Public Comment. Haishan Gong, Owner Thank you very much for the support of the Town. It is due to various reasons such as the pandemic, family, job issues, and fire hydrant installation that we couldn’t get the project going earlier. Apologies for the delay. We hope now we are able to start the projects if the permits get re-issued. Closed Public Comment. MOTION: Motion by Kenny Ip to approve with required findings and recommended conditions of approval. Seconded by Roy Alba. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. Appeal rights were recited. OTHER BUSINESS None.
