Absent: Building MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS None. CONSENT ITEMS 1. Approval of Minutes – October 1,2024 MOTION: Motion by Kenny Ip to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by Corvell Sparks. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. Building is absent PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 50 University Avenue Conditional Use Permit Application U-24-008 Requesting Approval for a Conditional Use Permit for Group Classes (Pilates Studio) on property Zoned C-2:LHP:PD. APN 529-02-044. Categorically Exempt Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301: Existing Facilities. Property Owner: Robert Aguirre/Federal Realty Investment Trust (SRI Old Town, LLC) Applicant: David Fenster Project Planner: Suray Nathan The project planner presented the staff report. Opened Public Comment. It is a national chain. - They are adding a location in Los Gatos. - They hired an acoustics training expert to ensure that the noise levels outside are no different than a typical retail or office space. - They will have a lighting system of 14 to 16 reformers. Closed Public Comment. MOTION: Motion by Corvell Sparks to approve with required findings and recommended conditions of approval. Seconded by Kenny Ip. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. Building is absent. Appeal rights were recited. OTHER BUSINESS None.
